July 18, 2022 - Hickory, NC - Utility Solutions, Inc. introduced an all new hot stick probe on Friday July 8th. The release featured the new Fuzzy Finger™ which offers the functionality of a standard hot stick finger with the added utility of securely holding most standard fuse barrels available on the market.

“On July 8th, we released a few TikTok videos to promote the new product, we have seen some sales start to come in for the Fuzzy Finger and we expect more once linemen have their hands on this product and experience this tool out in the field” said Derick Wood, Project Manager, on the new Fuzzy Finger™ hot stick probe.

Linemen have left comments on the videos which included:

According to Utility Solutions, the new Fuzzy Finger™ features replaceable nylon bristles that offer a safe and simple method to control a fuse barrel, even in high winds.

"Also, last week while traveling to customers in Mississippi, linemen had already seen our TikTok video and thought this product was great" said Presley Turner, Marketing Specialist, on the new Fuzzy Finger™ hot stick probe. "These comments and feedback are just the beginning to us making improvements and promoting this product."

Utility Solutions Inc. took the TikTok route to promote the Fuzzy Finger™ due to our Quick Grab Probe product going viral on a lineman's TikTok account which got 870K views.
